ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Shayna Kumar, a 16-year-old student from United World College Dover Campus Singapore. (UWCSEA).

Born and raised in Singapore, I have always believed in the power of creativity and compassion. From a young age, I discovered my love for the arts and drama, leading me to participate in various performances and events, including pursuing a Diploma in Drama at the Trinity College.

I have always been deeply inspired by my grandmother’s dedication to helping underprivileged communities. From a young age, I accompanied her on visits to a blind school ,old age homes, orphanages where I witnessed the positive impact of kindness and compassion.

These experiences ignited my passion for social service and motivated me to actively seek ways to give back to society. I enjoy expressing my creativity through drama, participating in various performances, and engaging in fundraising initiatives at school for different charities.

This website represents my journey to combine my love for the arts with my desire to create positive change. Through this platform, I hope to inspire others and share my passion for social impact, creativity, and community engagement.

PURPOSE

While I focus on my education, I believe it is equally important to give back to society.

The UWC movement has taught me the significance of making a positive impact, and it has inspired me to dedicate my time and efforts to helping those who are underprivileged. My goal is to support worthy causes and, with the help of others, create a ripple effect of kindness and generosity.

I consider myself privileged to have been encouraged by my parents to pursue drama, acting, and speech from an early age. This has led me to explore the creation of audiobooks—an art form where I can use my voice to bring stories to life. By creating and sharing audiobooks, I hope to engage and inspire others while raising awareness for various causes.

Walk for Charity
